Our Synchron ST Scanner is comprised of the most advanced image capture technologies. Built in Germany by famed Hermann Cruse, Synchron has been called a "Rolls-Royce of scanners" and is a result of many decades of innovative thinking and research.
A heavy-duty construction lays a strong foundation for any scan job by ensuring zero vibration effect during image capture. Its construction also supports small to large format originals in both 2D and 3D. Maximum size limitations are 60” by 90” by a height of up to 15”. It holds a maximum weight of 300lbs. Even with its generous size allowance, our Cruse Synchron ST Scanner is also designed to scan larger originals such as tapestries, by scanning them in portions. Perfect squareness of both the camera to the subject, and the digital back allows seamless integration of scanned parts.
Trumatch® lights by KinoFlo® (winners of Academy Award for Technical Excellence) produce perfect colour reproduction, while UV filters prevent damage to your valuable originals. Lamp color is uniquely formulated to match the spectral sensitivity curves of film and digital imaging equipment.
Uberscan’s scanner is also optimized for both flat lighting and 3D lighting options by providing perfectly uniform flat lighting from edge to edge, or precise control over shadows and highlights with the adjustable servo drive light bank. See example of 3D lighting here or visit Cruse manufacturer's website for more examples.
High-quality optical photographic and reproduction systems are among the most complex products to manufacture. For that reason only a few manufacturers can maintain a position worldwide in this professional market. Schneider-Kreuznach has been synonymous with high-performance lenses of the highest quality for over 90 years.
The confidence that professionals worldwide have placed in lenses from Schneider-Kreuznach is not based solely on the long tradition and almost legendary reputation of world-renowned lenses for traditional photography. Schneider-Kreuznach combines extensive experience in lens construction with the most modern computational, design, manufacturing, and stringent testing methods which assure the highest level of quality which has become particularly evident in the new DIGITAR series.
The custom Schneider-Kreuznach Digitar 80mm lens achieves unmatched clarity and resolving power, and works in tandem with its counterpart Kodak KLI-10203 CCD sensor array for maximum sharpness and minimal noise. Equipped with precision autofocus, our scanner completely avoids guesswork and operator errors.
